The African Union Commission in collaboration with the government of the Republic of Botswana will convene an inaugural Africa Biodiversity Summit.
Date: 1-5 October 2025
Place: Gaborone, Botswana
The Africa Biodiversity Summit is expected to bring together African Heads of State and Government, other global leaders as well as the conservation community at large on the continent and around the world to foster inclusive biodiversity management pathways and increase financial flows to the Africa’s homegrown solutions.
