The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and its partners are scaling up Anticipatory Action across Eastern Africa through the ECHO-funded SCALAA project. This initiative, led by the World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and the IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC), is designed to strengthen early warning systems and anticipatory response mechanisms in the region.
At the heart of this effort lies the challenge of making climate data accessible, engaging, and actionable. That’s where creative talent comes in.
ICPAC is seeking a Visual Design Intern to help transform complex climate information into compelling digital content. The intern will play a key role in bridging science and society turning forecasts, risk maps, and climate insights into visuals that inform communities, inspire policymakers, and mobilize action.
