Kenya has launched a call for exhibition proposals for the 11th Our Ocean Conference (OOC11), set to take place in Nairobi from 16–18 June 2026. The event marks the first time the global gathering will be hosted on African soil, offering a unique platform to showcase innovation, science, and community action shaping the future of the ocean.
Organisers say the exhibition space will serve as the “heartbeat” of the conference, where ideas move from concept to action. Exhibits are expected to highlight cutting‑edge technology, investment opportunities, and powerful storytelling, connecting global policy discussions with practical solutions on the ground.
The Our Ocean Conference has become a key forum for governments, researchers, and civil society to advance commitments on marine protection, sustainable fisheries, and climate resilience. With Africa hosting for the first time, OOC11 is seen as an opportunity to spotlight regional leadership and creativity, while amplifying solutions from across the continent and beyond.
Proposals are now being invited from innovators, institutions, and community groups. The deadline for submissions is yet to be announced, but organisers are encouraging early applications. Exhibition opportunities can be explored via the official link: https://lnkd.in/enFurtee..
Kenya’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change says it looks forward to welcoming “bold ideas and inspiring exhibits” that will help shape global ocean action
