KAMPALA, May 28 (NECJOGHA News Desk) – The Africa Creatives Alliance has launched a call for local experts to support a pilot project in Uganda, aiming to place arts and design at the centre of civic engagement, cross‑sector collaboration and social change.
The initiative, announced under the banner #CallForExperts, is seeking experienced practitioners working at the intersection of arts, design, innovation, education and industry. According to the Alliance, the pilot will be the first of its kind in Uganda, designed to strengthen collaboration between cultural practitioners and industry.
On social media x.com, the Alliance wrote: “We are looking for local experts to support this first‑of‑its‑kind pilot in Uganda, placing arts and design at the centre of structured civic engagement, cross‑sector collaboration and social change.”
Interested candidates are invited to send their CVs and portfolios directly to the Africa Creatives Alliance via kngenzi@aca.africa and jkouzmine@aca.africa. The Alliance said the project will help shape new pathways for creative engagement across Africa, with Uganda serving as a test case for broader regional initiatives.
The Africa Creatives Alliance is expected to announce selected experts later this year.
