The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has announced a vacancy for the position of Regional Project Coordinator, tasked with leading the implementation of the BREFONS and BREFOL programmes across the Horn of Africa.
This role offers an opportunity for a skilled and proactive professional to contribute to IGAD’s mission of strengthening resilience, food security, climate adaptation, and sustainable livelihoods in agro-pastoral and pastoral communities across its Member States.
Key Responsibilities
The Regional Project Coordinator will:
- Oversee and coordinate all project activities under BREFONS and BREFOL.
- Lead planning, monitoring, evaluation, procurement, and budget execution.
- Strengthen partnerships with governments, development partners, and regional stakeholders.
- Ensure results-based project management and reporting in line with IGAD and AfDB procedures.
